KEMBA raises donations for Ronald McDonald House Charities

May 3, 2019

Salem, VA - KEMBA Roanoke Federal Credit Union, a local, non-profit financial institution located on Main Street in Salem, spent the month of April working hard to bring in donations for the The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia.

“This is the first of hopefully many campaigns to support this tremendous organization that works hard to keep families dealing with a health crisis together and comfortable,” said Allan Davidson, CEO, KEMBA Roanoke Federal Credit Union.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia is celebrating their 35th anniversary on May 3rd with “Rock-a-Tee” Day. KEMBA staff along with many other people throughout our community purchased t-shirts to wear today with all proceeds going to shelter, feed, and comfort families with sick, injured, or premature children in Roanoke area hospitals. In addition, throughout the month of April our staff and members have been busy collecting monetary donations as well as various food items that can be used by the Ronald McDonald House.
